Russellville

Russellville is the largest city in Pope County, Arkansas and home to Arkansas Tech University. Common Ground served as lead urban designer to create a comprehensive strategy to revitalize Russellville’s historic Downtown and the El Paso Avenue Corridor linking Downtown and Arkansas Tech University (ATU).

In addition to developing an overall land use strategy for Downtown, we developed concepts for a transformed train depot area into a public events venue, concepts for a new downtown library with a public space, as well as concepts for strengthening the connection between Arkansas Tech University and the downtown via El Paso Avenue.
